  • Peer support/Coaching  - S.T.Y.L.E.S. invest in helping youth manage stress and conflict while improving one's self-esteem through individual coaching and group peer support. Our coaching program allows high risk youth youth the opportunity to interview and select the coach of their choice. Each coach undergo the necessary state requirements to work with youth and be required to make a long term commitment. 

  • Nutrition - Health and nutrition acknowledging the health disparities often faced within low income families and communities of color. Styles virtually provides nutritional cooking lessons, access to other resources to meet their needs such as health coach, access to food and health insurance.

  • Tutoring - Students receive 1on 1 academic support by a trained tutor within the subject area of need virtually.

  • Social Emotional Learning Skills- S.T.Y.L.E.S. teach youth and young adults the necessary skills in the area of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationships and responsible decision-making.  These SEL skills are the foundational competencies that youths and young adults need in order to deal with bullying, crisis, and everyday life challenges prevention efforts.  These efforts become a natural extension of the underlying Social Emotional Learning practices in the S.T.Y.L.E.S program and young people are more likely to succeed.  Youths and young adults with greater social and emotional competency are less likely to be aggressors, targets of bullying or passive bystanders.

  • Pre-Vocational Training- S.T.Y.L.E.S. prepare adolescents for a successful transition into the workplace by equipping them with job-readiness skills that will help in gaining and maintaining employment. Some of the key areas will include :

  • Interpersonal skills 

  • Communication skills

  • Developing flexibility 

  • Productivity

  • Organizational skills 

  • Problem solving

  • Personal appearance 

  • Attendance and punctuality

  • Vocational training -Youth  have the opportunity to learn different trades so they are able to decide a career path. Our program will prepare adolescents for a variety of work environments.

  • Advocacy - Styles empowers youth and families with the information needed to become self- advocates. case managers will also assist families with navigating through systems.

FAMILY SUPPORT- S.T.Y.L.E.S supports the social, emotional, and physical well-being of families through case management services that will connect families resources available within their communities.  This will also include information, advocacy and assistances navigating through systems. 

  • Parenting classes - S.T.Y.L.E.S offers a six-week parenting class to discuss topics such as managing stress and conflict, child development, anger management, and interpersonal relationships.  Most parents are referred to the programs because they had a prior incident of child abuse or neglect, or are determined to be at-risk for abuse.

  • Life skills - S.T.Y.L.E.S provide adolescents with the essential tools in and out of the household using hands on instruction.

  • Money Management  - youth learn how to properly manage and invest their money.
